Residencies & Professional Practice

​

2024 – 2026

Artist-in-Residence, Outer Spaces, Edinburgh, UK  
Full-time development of artistic practice. Structured residency providing dedicated studio space, resources, and uninterrupted time for research, experimentation, and the production of new work.

​

2019

Co-founder & Lead Artist, Nomads Collective, Birmingham, UK  
Founded and directed the collective with poet and artist Ahmed Magare. Secured an a-n Artist Bursary for a nine-month collaborative programme exploring immigrant experience through mixed-media works, monthly zines, poetry, and sensory installations. Established a studio base at The Old Print Works, developed public outputs (website and printed editions), and managed funding, budgeting, and production.

Organiser and curator for Black History Month exhibition. Led fundraising, installation, and invigilation.

The Arches Project, Birmingham, UK  
Curated and produced multiple public art events including “We are the Dream” and “The Passage”. Secured funding, designed visual identity, managed budgets, installed exhibitions, and delivered public programmes with press coverage.

Supported exhibition delivery, artist collaboration, and public engagement.
